Developing a new medicine in the pharmaceutical industry is a long process and there are many parts to it. In every aspect of it people work in teams. Experience shows that some teams work together better than others and some are more successful than others. In many ways, the successful completion of a task or a project is related to how well the team worked together.
This activity encourages students to work as an effective team. The team task is to select characteristics of good teams and the beneficial behaviours of individuals within teams.
